Water is the only drink that is essential for our bodies. This includes tap, spring, mineral and sparkling water.

How and why should I drink water ?

It is important to drink water throughout the day, and before you feel thirsty, including :

  • In the morning, to rehydrate after the nighttime.
  • With and between meals.
  •  When taking a break.
  • Carry a reusable bottle with you throughout the day.
  • When you're doing a physical activity or in (very) hot weather, remember to drink more water.

What are the symptoms of dehydration ?

  • Tiredness;
  • Carelessness;
  • Lack of concentration;
  • Headaches.

When and how do we lose water?

We lose water constantly through our metabolism, including :

  • Urination;
  • Respiration;
  • Evaporation through the skin;
  • Sweat;
  • Water loss in stools.
